Enhanced Oil Recovery, or tertiary recovery, involves extending the life of oil and gas reservoirs through a variety of fluid / chemical injections into existing reservoirs. Membrane Nitrogen injection is one of several fluids that can be used for EOR.
Through the use of membrane nitrogen injection, reservoir production can be improved by 2 – 3 times over the existing production rate. EOR involves nitrogen injection at distributed wells throughout a reservoir. The process is typically applied to older reservoirs that are no longer economical at their current production rate. Nitrogen requirements can vary greatly from 500 Nm3/h (320 SCFM) to over 5000 Nm3/h (3200 SCFM).
manufactures a wide range of rugged mobile membrane nitrogen systems suitable for locations throughout the world. Our systems are capable of operating in a variety of environmental landscapes – from the arctic to the desert.
